This experience was absolutely wonderful-I have no complaints at all. Luis and his driver came to pick us up from our hotel, drove us to Baru and provided excellent conversation and commentary on the cities as we drove through them. We arrived at Baru and were welcomed with a delicious and fresh home-cooked meal!We had plenty of time to eat and relax before taking a boat ride to the beach and viewing the plankton. The boat ride was beautiful. We rode through mangroves and arrived at a lovely semi-private beach. Luis directed us to a private location where the bioluminescent plankton were very prevalent and gave us time alone to enjoy the beauty of nature. When we were finished we returned to the boat and took the trip back, we changed clothing, and we're dropped off at our hotel. the experience was very authentic and beautiful. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience!
